Berryjar is a personal budgeting app built to be private by design. Everything you enter — your transactions, budgets, recurring bills, and savings goals — is stored only on your device. We do not have servers that receive your financial data, and we cannot see it.
Nothing. Berryjar does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or financial information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no cloud sync, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising.
Your data is saved locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it. Berryjar has no way to recover it because we never had a copy.
If you turn on notifications, Berryjar uses them only to remind you about your own upcoming bills and (if you start a free trial) before that trial ends. These reminders are scheduled on your device. No notification data leaves your phone.
Berryjar Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase, handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Payment is processed by Apple, not by us — we never see your payment details. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Berryjar is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age.
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Because Berryjar collects no data, we do not anticipate material changes.
